Summary: We arrived home last night and are already making plans to return. Our stay at Cahernane was beyond anything we expected. The house itself was just stunning, the carriage house (where we stayed) was enchanting, breathtaking, and so comfortable and clean. The dining (both in The Cellar and main house) was top notch. And the service on all levels was just lovely. The staff were all accommodating, warm, and kind. We walked the grounds, which are pristine and also explored the area. We did have a car, however will definitely take the bikes next time. Muckross Abbey and House and the Torc Waterfall are within 10 minutes (if that) of the house - all of which were stunning. And the National Park is the other major reason we'd stay here again. There is so much more we want to explore in the park. Don't miss the Gap of Dunloe and Ladies View, and if you do have a car, please go exploring the park roads. Just incredible. On a side note, anyone who is gluten and dairy free will have an easy time here. My husband had no issues dining at either restaurant on grounds and everyone was extremely accommodating. Overall, it was truly a magical experience to be repeated!

Summary: Lovely manor house with nice decor, however food is not good enough for a four star hotel. Ate in bar first night and was average -couldve have gotten far better locally.... breakfast is appalling -no options for continental breakfast with only a few pastries on a plate to chose from and the cooked breakfast was not good. Saw loads of people leaving half eaten plates. Seriously needs improvement in this area. We ate out our second night as the restaurant is not worth the money for the quality of food or options on menu. Room cleaning needs improvement too, as our room was full of spiders which freaked out my wife, and this is due to lots of cobwebs on display which should be removed.

Summary: The property and most of the stuff were great. The bar stuff, in particular the younger skinny male, was passive aggressively rude.

Summary: This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a nice patio. The bathroom was beautiful, clean, updated, and instant hot water in the shower. They refreshed the bathroom supplies daily. The morning breakfast had a lot of choices and was delicious. It was convenient to have a nice breakfast before heading out for your day. The location was wonderful. The hotel had a lot of nice areas to sit in, lounge and relax. It had a restaurant at night as well as a bar area that offered food. I had dinner one night in the bar and it was excellent. I had room service one time and that was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Summary: Fabulous, relaxing hotel. As soon as you turn off the busy Killarney road and go down a long tree-lined driveway and see the pastoral views, you feel refreshed. Great location and ambiance!

Summary: The hotel was amazing! It did not disappoint in its beauty, decor, and also service! The staff went out of its way to help in any way possible. My only regret is we only spent two nights and would have loved to stay longer!
